Originally released in June of 1970, Workingman's Dead was the fourth studio album recorded by the Grateful Dead. A departure from Grateful Dead's historically psychedelic and experimental works, Workingman's Dead brought the songcraft of Jerry Garcia & Robert Hunter to the forefront in this now iconic Americana album, which will celebrate its 50th Anniversary in 2020. The title of the album comes from a comment from Jerry Garcia to lyricist Robert Hunter about how "this album was turning into the Workingman's Dead version of the band." The sound of this album was influenced by Garcia's pairing with songwriter Hunter as well as the group's friendship with Crosby, Stills and Nash. The sound that CSN created made the Dead strive for a better, more harmonious sound themselves. The album is ranked number 264 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time. Produced in a limited edition of 10,000 copies, the picture disc features all 8 perfect songs from the original album, newly remastered by Grammy® Award-winning engineer, David Glasser. Recorded between June 1974 and January 1975, Homegrown was intended to come out in 1975 before Neil cancelled the release. The album has remained unreleased until now, achieving a legendary status among Neil Young fans in the process. The album is made up of twelve Neil Young songs, of which seven are previously unreleased - 'Separate Ways,' 'Try,' 'Mexico,' 'Kansas,' 'We Don’t Smoke It No More,' 'Vacancy' and 'Florida' (a spoken word narration). Also included are the first recordings of 'Love Is A Rose,' 'Homegrown,' 'White Line, 'Little Wing,' and 'Star Of Bethlehem' - different versions of which would all later appear on other Neil Young albums. Neil plays solo on some tracks (guitar, piano and harmonica), and is joined by a band of friends on other tracks, including Levon Helm, Ben Keith, Karl T Himmel, Tim Drummond, Emmylou Harris and Robbie Robertson.     • RELEASE DATE: 08.05.2020. Stormwatch (40th Anniversary Edition) (2020) Jethro Tull’s Stormwatch album originally released on 14th September1979 will be re-issued on 3rd April 2020. STORMWATCH: A Steven Wilson stereo remix will be released on vinyl and on CD on 3rd April 2020, the CD version will also contain 8 Additional Recordings from the recent Stormwatch: 40th Anniversary Force 10 Edition boxed set. The CD contains a 32 page booklet with extensive coverage of theband’s touring and recording at the end of the 1970s by Martin Webb. Contributions from Ian Anderson, Martin Barre, Dee Palmer and Dave Pegg. Stormwatch was the final piece in the bands folk – rock trilogy after the release of Songs from the Wood in 1977 and Heavy Horses in 1978. This is the last Tull album to feature the classic line-up of 1970s. Bassist John Glascock, suffering at this point from the effects of a cardiac infection that eventually led to his death, is only featured on three tracks (“Flying Dutchman”, “Orion”, and “Elegy”). Ian Anderson played bass elsewhere on the album while Dave Pegg played on the subsequent tour. Drummer Barriemore Barlow and keyboard players John Evan and Dee Palmer left the band the following year the Stormwatch tour.
