Originally released in June of 1970, Workingman's Dead was the fourth studio album recorded by the Grateful Dead. A departure from Grateful Dead's historically psychedelic and experimental works, Workingman's Dead brought the songcraft of Jerry Garcia & Robert Hunter to the forefront in this now iconic Americana album, which will celebrate its 50th Anniversary in 2020. The title of the album comes from a comment from Jerry Garcia to lyricist Robert Hunter about how "this album was turning into the Workingman's Dead version of the band." The sound of this album was influenced by Garcia's pairing with songwriter Hunter as well as the group's friendship with Crosby, Stills and Nash. The sound that CSN created made the Dead strive for a better, more harmonious sound themselves. The album is ranked number 264 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time. Produced in a limited edition of 10,000 copies, the picture disc features all 8 perfect songs from the original album, newly remastered by Grammy® Award-winning engineer, David Glasser.     • Release date: 26.6.2020 - For the 20th anniversary of the classic, two previously unpublished tracks have now been added to the track list: the blues standard Rollin 'and Tumblin' and BB KING's composition Let Me Love You. Both songs were recorded during the session and newly produced and mixed especially for the new release by Simon Climie, who produced the album together with Clapton. In addition, Bob Lewis' original tapes were remastered. Riding With The King appears on Reprise Records. - The 14-track collection is available in all formats, including a black 180-gram double vinyl. The album is presented in a limited edition on blue 180 gram vinyl. The vinyl version was mastered by Chris Bellman at the Bernie Grundman Mastering in Los Angeles. Recorded between June 1974 and January 1975, Homegrown was intended to come out in 1975 before Neil cancelled the release. The album has remained unreleased until now, achieving a legendary status among Neil Young fans in the process. The album is made up of twelve Neil Young songs, of which seven are previously unreleased - 'Separate Ways,' 'Try,' 'Mexico,' 'Kansas,' 'We Don’t Smoke It No More,' 'Vacancy' and 'Florida' (a spoken word narration). Also included are the first recordings of 'Love Is A Rose,' 'Homegrown,' 'White Line, 'Little Wing,' and 'Star Of Bethlehem' - different versions of which would all later appear on other Neil Young albums. Neil plays solo on some tracks (guitar, piano and harmonica), and is joined by a band of friends on other tracks, including Levon Helm, Ben Keith, Karl T Himmel, Tim Drummond, Emmylou Harris and Robbie Robertson.
