The third Police album, from 1980, reached no. 1 on the UK Albums Chart and featured two classic hit singles – the moving (and controversial) ‘Don’t Stand So Close to Me’ (about an older teacher’s relationship with one of his students) and ‘De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da’. The album also features their second Grammy-winning instrumental ‘Behind My Camel’, and other fan favourites ‘Shadows in the Rain’, ‘Canary in a Coalmine’ and ‘Man in a Suitcase’.
