Steve Martin’s rapid rise from stand-up comedian to national favorite in the late 70s made him one of the leading figures of the new generation of comedians. This album is a compilation of his four albums “Let’s Get Small” (1977), “A Wild And Crazy Guy” (1978), and “Comedy Is Not Pretty” (1979), which fully demonstrate his absurd humor, surreal routines, and banjo skills during the period when he was gaining popularity.
