Arild Andersen introduces a new trio with the highly gifted Greek pianist Vassilis Tsabropoulos, who makes his ECM debut with ‘Achirana’. They are joined by veteran British drummer John Marshall, previously a member of Eberhard Weber’s ‘Colours’ band. Their programme of all original material casts new light on the post-Bill Evans idiom.
