This compilation is a true treasure chest for fans of early belgian wave and electro as well as a great addition to any Parade Ground collection.
Hear their very first studio recordings from 1981, including “A Message to Europa” and “I shut my Eyes”. Witness them working in the studio on legendary tracks like “Strange World” or “Gold Rush”. The closing track is an unreleased track from the recording sessions for the Dual Perspective 12″, featuring production by Colin Newman (Wire) and Patrick Codenys (Front 242).

Parade Ground are composed of two brothers Pierre and Jean-Marc Pauly who started performing live in 1981. They were pioneers of Cold Wave and Electronic Body Music. Their style has evolved during the eighties, passing from an icy and radical cold wave to a more dancing sound with noticeable rythmics and exclusively synthetic melodies mixed up with dreamy visual dadaism.
