The first edition of the book was published in Puerto Rico by Isla Negra Publishing, and was intended for the Spanish-speaking world – from South America to the Hispanic community in the United States.

 

Gibonni, a great admirer of authors such as Gabriel García Márquez and Jorge Luis Borges, attached great importance to the translation of his poems into Spanish. This book, which brings together poems in  Croatian, Spanish and English , is a true literary treasure –  powerful, emotional and precious .

 

Gibonni is both a poet and a musician. His poems are imbued with strong emotions, and his wordplay is memorable.  Reading his verses without music opens up a new dimension – intimate, fresh, yet still powerful and familiar.  Even long-time fans of his music will feel something deeper and special in these verses.

 

The book contains  31 poems , personally selected by Gibonni. The poems are presented in three languages – Croatian, Spanish and English. Among them are the greatest hits such as:  Mirakul, Brod u boci, Žeđam, Judi, zviri i beštimje, Libar, Lažu fotografije, Drvo  and many others.
