This is the 50th anniversary reissue of one of the highlights of the Kinks catalog ‘Arthur (or the Decline and Fall of the Birite Empire)’. The limited deluxe box set contains a whopping 83 tracks, five of which have never been released before, in addition to 26 previously unreleased alternate versions of album tracks. The 4CD also contains remastered mono and stereo versions of the entire album, singles, B-sides, alternate versions, new doowop choir recordings, Ray Davies remixes, a demo medley, BBC recordings plus a ‘lost’ Dave Davies album. The set also includes four reproduced 7″ singles and a 68-page tome of essays, new interviews, rare photos and a metal badge.
