Description
Belgian composer, singer and actor. Very popular in French-speaking countries, at the beginning of the 1960s he began to write music for films in which he often also starred: La banda Bonnot (1968) by P. Fourastié, Mio zio Beniamino – L’uomo dal capote rosso (1969) by E. Molinaro, L’avventura è l’avventura (1972) by C. Lelouch. Among his most successful films with music and acting, Il rompiballe (1973), again by Molinaro, in which he gives life to an irresistible would-be suicide who upsets the life of a rough professional killer with the face of L. Ventura (the film will have an excellent American remake, Buddy Buddy, 1981, by B. Wilder, with J. Lemmon and W. Matthau).
