An American in Paris… On his second album, recorded in Paris in October 1955, the trumpeter can be heard playing well-known standards, presented by a quartet that Baker had formed ad hoc with the French pianist Gérard Gustin, the American bassist Jimmy Bond and the Swedish drummer Bert Dahlander. World-class jazz from an international formation, captured in the then capital of European jazz.
