Originally issued in 2003 as the final album under the Edge Of Sanity name, this progressive death metal opus was essentially a solo achievement by Dan Swanö (Opeth, Dissection, Incantation), following up the band’s 1996 milestone Crimson. Crimson II is a single, continuous 43-minute concept piece, segmented across two sides of vinyl and remastered in 2025 by Swanö himself.
