Both of the albums released by WHY DON’T WE made it into the top 10 of the US Billboard 200 album chart, as well as releasing two platinum singles and five gold singles, and recording a total of more than 600 million streams worldwide. Since then, Daniel has been writing and producing songs. The
long-awaited debut album “SECOND WIND”. Among the 12 songs included are collaborations with songwriter/producer Michael Pollack, who has worked on Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber’s works, as well as many pop songs with high hit potential inspired by the pop rock of the ’00s that Daniel has been influenced by. Daniel plays more than 20 types of instruments and has an impressive high-tone voice. Rolling Stone has already praised him, saying, “He’s ready to show off his extraordinary production skills, outstanding vocals, and artistry as a solo artist in his own music.”
The album includes the refreshing “The Older We Get,” released as a single last year, the pop breakup song “Other People,” and the fun-filled “Gateway Drug,” as well as the title track “Second Wind,” which features Daniel’s falsetto and synth pop-like sound. All of the songs on the album inherit the spirit of ’00s pop and rock from a futuristic perspective of the 22nd century, and are unique and attractive pop sounds that have been created without cutting corners, from songwriting to playing instruments, arranging, producing, and mixing down.
He is also steadily growing as a live act, having made his festival debut as a solo artist at Lollapalooza in 2024 and supporting Benson Boone on his UK/European tour! He is an artist that is sure to attract attention not only from fans who have supported him since WHY DON’T WE, but also from fans of male pop singer-songwriters such as Charlie Puth and Benson Boone.
